Internships are such an integral part of the experiential learning here at MCLA. This week's internship profile features Camdyn Craver, MOSAIC's event support intern!

Camdyn's Summary:
At my internship I assist Gallery 51 with event support including managing sound, ensuring technical operations go smoothly, and being on stand-by for assurance of sound equipment working properly. I also help market events by spreading awareness via social media and creating an inviting and honest atmosphere in Gallery51’s online presence.
Camdyn's Reflection:
I am Camdyn Craver, an arts management and music industry and production student. Throughout the Spring 2025 semester, I have been interning with the arts organization MOSAIC with a focus on sound production and engineering and event support overseen by Professor Jeremy Winchester. My experience, however, has exceeded merely working with sound equipment and the like as it has encompassed work of all kinds. I’ve worked the sound and light boards for a play, took audience members’ tickets for another, and sat at the front desk and greeted people at Gallery51, in addition to general sound and event support for various artists and professionals.
One of the most involved parts of the internship was the week I was supporting the production of The Little Prince. It was very time-intensive, fascinating, and rewarding. I gained much insight and knowledge of how play productions work. I helped some with the sound and when we put on the actual shows, I ran the lights, which involved going to the correct cues at the correct times to ensure the lights on stage enhanced the performance and narrative.
