Summary:

MCLA’s Institute for the Arts and Humanities “Communication and Engagement Manager” internship will apply knowledge and skills to support IAH communication and engagement initiatives throughout the fall semester. The intern will report to the Institute Coordinator and will collaborate with other student interns, in a leadership position, to assist with various projects as well as the planning, execution, and evaluation of MCLA-IAH signature events and programming.

Reflection:

I chose to continue my internship at the Institute for the Arts and Humanities because I was able to go into a larger leadership role than my previous Public Relations and Social Media internship that I had last semester. In this role, I can mix being president of a club on campus with the work I do at IAH. I am also able to create the newsletters and social media plans that was once done by someone in the same role who eventually graduated. In this role, I can definitely see how my majors, English and Communications, are intertwining with Arts and Arts Management which is broadening my experience.
