Performing Arts Administration Intern
The Performing Arts Administration Internship entails work within multiple facets of the Performing Arts Department at MASS MoCA, including Artist Services, Box Office and Audience Services, and General Management. The intern works directly with the Artist Services Director on ensuring that all artists, performers, and guests at MASS MoCA have everything they need to put on a successful show. This includes artist housing, transportation, and any other hospitality necessary. The Intern also does research on performing artists when drafting event programs. In coordination with the Project Manager, the Performing Arts Administration Intern assists in volunteer organization and management pre-show, during performances, and post-show. In addition to the responsibilities outlined, the Intern is tasked with any office work necessary to keep the department running smoothly.
